Description
Born Constantin Popa in the last year of the baby boomers generation in Bucharest, Romania of Transylvanian parents (Yes, I like to stay up late at night).
Before the teenage years, I spent my vacations at my Grandparents in the village of Voila, Fagaras district. Starting in high-school (I.L. Caragiale, Bucharest) I got into physics, electronics, mountain-hiking and music.
After graduating high-school, I was accepted at the College of Electrical Engineering, University of Bucharest. Before attending college, I did my National Service at the 45-th Signals Regiment. We were de facto incorporated into the Red Army at that time through the structure of the Warsaw Pact.
