Both HIPAA compliance and the potential to save time and money as well as provide improved patient care are causing more physicians to look toward Electronic Medical Record (EMR) products as a solution. Dr. Stewart has developed an EMR product currently in use at his office (DigitalPhysician EMR). Soon a version will be available for other physicians and practices.
Cary C. Stewart M.D., Ph.D. founder of Digital Physician currently practices medicine in Orange County, California. He attended Loma Linda University School of Medicine completing the Medical Scientist Training Program with a PhD in Pharmacology. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. Throughout his education and career as a physician, Dr. Stewart has been involved in implementing new technologies and providing guidance to other physicians and professionals.
