DigitalMetal was created in the December of 2000 to plug fans, bands, artists and freaks of extreme music (and other hard-to-define genres) into a network of services that will provide an impassioned look at the genres that encompass metal and its lifestyle.

DigitalMetal offers site visitors a chance to catch up with what is happening in the active world(s) of metal by offering daily site updates in catagories such as news, reviews and interviews as well as Unlimited metal MP3 downloads through our partner Emusic. Five months into existance, DigitalMetal is still in its formative stage. We did manage to nab a stage at this year's Metal Meltdown III and our presence will be felt at the forthcoming Milwaukee Metalfest in August.
