Didgeridoo Tribe Connection
Description
please excuse the overall look and feel while we fine tune our NEW site. It's so exciting to have you all back and to see the great positive vibes of the tribe once again. As you know we have had to make a few major changes. Here is a list of what to look for:
It was a hot day- the beach was full! We gathered on the grass and lit a portable fire container. Chris joined us all the way from LA- amazing driver! My daughter Kyra (2.5yrs) had fun in the water, played in the sand, and later joined us dancing trying to copy Anie and the girs beautiful Scarf and "fire" twirling. Another drum group joined ours taking us from a couple of drums to somewhere near 10. I am not so shure that many works well with didgeplay as they tend to get drowned out. Things were just warming up at about 9 when I had to leave- Chris will probally have some good stories to tell!
When Warnerr left, that left only Jack and I as the remaining didgers among about seven or eight drummers. We could hardly hear ouselves playing didge it was so NOISY!! Sorry drummers!! It sounded good but was LOUD. About 9:30 the drummers were banging away for a long stretch,(Jack might have accidentaly PO'd one of the guest drummers who was standing and drumming right next to him-his drum was so bright and loud[hard to explain the sound] when he jokingly asked him if his drum had a mute button!! The expression on that guys face was so funny!!) that is when SD's finest came to "join us". Apparently some people in the hotel nearby were complaining about the "noise". So he politely asked us to quit or move. We ended up stopping playing and just hung out.
