Description
Directed by Kim and Devon Williamson Detour Community Theatre productions are produced in partnership with our regular volunteer staff and members of the community.
Generally speaking our regular volunteer staff create the sets, costumes, props, rig lights etc and are supported on stage and backstage by others from the community. When not working on Community Theatre shows we run workshops and serve the community through performing. See our NEWS page for details on what we have been doing recently.
Since then the company has grown to include Detour Community Theatre and our 11 week summer school "Introduction to the Performing Arts".The company has toured in New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines and the Cook Islands. Our staff have also taught Performing Arts in Vanuatu and Fiji.
