Hi, my name is Bill and I worked for years as a professional graphic designer. I've always had a fascination for beautiful art and well designed products - especially products coming out of Germany. In design school I admired their school of Bauhaus which coined the phrase "form follows function". Good design should work as well as it looks.
My wife and I discovered Miele vacuums (pronounced Meela) while shopping for a HEPA certified vacuum. We found many vacuums tha claim to be HEPA certified but fail miserably. For example many have HEPA filters for the vacuum exhaust, but let allergens escape through seals in the casing. We were happy to discover that Miele vacuums not only look great, but are the World's first line of truly HEPA certified vacuums.
We're not the only folks who appreciate Miele. Browse through a Martha Stuart Living magazine, you may find ads and articles about them. Talk to an Interior Designer about them. Better yet, talk to a friend who owns one, chances are they will tell you how much they LOVE their Miele. They may even let you borrow it to see for yourself.
