The Design Cottage is owned and operated by Helen Nicholson. In order to explore different ways to communicate with decorative painters, Helen began learning about computers and the internet somewhere around 1993. In the process, she created several sites to expand her knowledge to html, php, MySQL and all aspects of computer aided design.
Helen has been a freelance artist for over 30 years. She authors decorative painting books and her designs have been featured in many popular consumer publications. Her company, Helen Nicholson Designs offers over 70 decorative painting projects, products and books. Below you will find some of Helen's other accomplishments and capabilities.
