I was born in 1982 in Pasadena, California, to two wonderful parents. I spent my childhood years drawing, playing video games, and being really into He-Man. Going to the movies only cost 10 cents and pants were made out of wood. These were some really good times, as I recall.

My pre-teen and early teenage years were like most people's: awkward and painful, yet also really hilarious. I made some of my most bestest friends during this time, and learned some crucial life lessons; like how you should wear two pairs of underwear to a school dance in case you pop a boner during a slow song.

It was also during this time that my pal Jon Perry and I formed Blackeye Software and started a website to distribute our homemade games. Quite to our surprise, the games ended up becoming quite popular. At one point, EAGames offered to buy our company for a 20-foot high golden sceptre encrusted with rare jewels. We declined politely, not wanting to compromise our artistic integrity. It was the stupidest thing we ever done.
