Description
The history of Dergal Media is unusual, in that it's successes have been built in part upon luck and providing customer satisfaction. In 1998 a group of four people ventured into a university project creating a website for a small school based in Sheffield, out of the four Gerry White (BA Hons - Marketing and Business Communications) became interested in web development and soon managed to attain a couple of smaller jobs developing a couple of sites which were based on fundamental rules which we still adhere to:- fast loading, graphically interesting and easy to use, though were happy to admit that compared with what we produce today they were fundametally both limited and did not represent the best value for the consumer.
Since then we have had regular work from other web development companies who have called on our growing technical skills, and we expanded to the point that we can employ a range of staff on demand and our reputation has improved to the point we are recognised around as a leading web design business. Recently we have been introducing a new technology into the sites we produce - the ability to update the sites remotely via an innovative interface. An increasing number of our sites also have a level of database integration where we are beginning to become known through industry as relatively expert.
We invested (both training and the latest in software) into the ability to produce high standard multimedia CD's. These have fantastic potential and hopefully soon will be as popular as our web development services, these are starting to become popular, particularly with chains.
