DEMONBEACH RECORDS is a small label operated by Clif Mann and Jennifer Love out of Raleigh, NC. Started in 2000 by Clif, Jenn, Robin Mann and Rock Forbes, Demonbeach Records is an offspring of Durham's Loretta Records, home of the Bad Checks. We released our first two cds in the summer of 2000 and our first 12" vinyl compilation in December of the same year. Then came a series of 7"s over the next few years from local North Carolina hard hitting bands. Most of our vinyl records have screenprinted jackets that we print ourselves. We strive to continue to put out original, high-quality product and hope to do so long into the future.
We began with the influence of other musician founded labels of the eighties like Alternative Tentacles and SST. We like the Do-It-Yourself philosophy and support the mom and pop stores and way of doing things. We love supporting hard working people trying to do things right, WITHOUT stepping all over the little guys. WE are the little guys. We're not in it for the money, don't get me wrong, money would be nice, but it's not why we're in the music business. We just love music, it's a way of life and we like to help others that have the same music bug that exists in our hearts. We are dedicated to our work and personally pack every order by hand in brown bubble envelopes with a make it yourself stamp that has our name on it. We do our best to do the things we believe in.
