- The Demo Project is an industry driven initiative launched in connection with the ongoing work of the European Union on a strategy to reduce atmospheric emissions from seagoing ships. The Demo Project promotes emission trading as a cost-effective way to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOX) and sulphur dioxide (SO2) by proposing and testing solutions to critical issues such as monitoring and verification.
