- DeDe's story is short and amazing. She began an adventure of the heart in 1995 when life's circumstances felt overwhelming, dark and hopeless. A friend reminded her that stars shine the brightest on the darkest of nights. This sparked an internal knowing in DeDe that there is beauty and purpose in all things. A small faint voice within her began to chant "paint". She ignored the skeptics and began to paint…a lot! What emerged was just short of phenomenal.
