Small English run relaxation & meditation retreat centre in rural Normandy France

Over the years I have often bemoaned the fact that I was unable to find an alternative holiday retreat which combined my deep-rooted interest in holistic health and the spiritual path, with my life-long love affair with France. Consequently I decided that, when I retired, I would create such a place for other like-minded souls (some of whom may also have searched in vain).
It was with this objective that my husband and I came to France in the late summer of 2001 to look for a suitable property. We found an old farmhouse, which had been partially converted and which was surrounded by an acre of garden, with lovely views. It needed a great deal of work, including a new roof, but it had potential and, more importantly, it felt right. We moved in the following spring, and the friendly locals made us feel very much at home.
At last, after nearly 2 years of building works (including conversion of the attic into a Meditation/Yoga room, Therapy Room, and 2nd shower-room, plus conversion of the adjoining barn into self-catering accommodation), the Centre opened at Easter 2004. It caters for small groups of people wishing to recharge their batteries in a peaceful, nurturing atmosphere, where they can re-connect with nature and their inner being.
