Biography
DCspectator.com is an ongoing work in progress -- basically perma-beta -- published in Washington D.C. by Georgetown-based writer and communications consultant, Gordon Hensley.
In a prior life in politics, Hensley served as a GOP communications director and speechwriter on a variety of presidential, senatorial, gubernatorial and U.S. house campaigns between 1980-2000.
He also served as communications director for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) during U.S. Senator Al D'Amato's tenure as Chairman, communications director to Governor Buddy Roemer (R-LA), and press secretary to U.S. Reps. Joe DioGuardi (R-NY), Jim Courter (R-NJ) and Sam Johnson (R-TX).
