DC National Skateboarding Championships
Description
The DC Nationals is a Non-Profit Canada-Wide skateboard contest and the only event of its kind that gives Canadian amateur skaters a chance to showcase their talent on a National level.
The first step in the process is a series of local qualifiers being run across Canada simultaneously by skateboard shops on June 24th or June 25th, 2006.
The top 5 skateboarders in the Men's and Women's Open category will then qualify for the Regional event on July 22nd or 23rd, 2006. The regions represented will be British Columbia/Yukon, Alberta , Saskatchewan and Manitoba , Ontario , Quebec , and the Maritimes. The caliber of skateboarding will be higher at this level and represent the talent from that particular region.
