Glen Kotapish, current president of INCA, is an inventor and a professional patent researcher. His passion is helping inventors avoid common pitfalls and inventor targeted scams. Glen is also interested in high and low-tech devices that help developing nations. His background is in aerospace manufacturing engineering. While working for a NASA subcontractor, he worked on cooling systems for the Hubble Space Telescope and satellite structures. He also has been a high school teacher and an EEG technician. Glen has written articles that have been published in Inventors' Digest magazine and at www.cafezine.com. Maurice Daniel, current Vice President of INCA, is a life-long inventor with experience spanning over 40 years, including the obtaining of 13 issued patents (several currently under license), and the initiation of three startup companies based on his patents (one currently successful at $10 million per year in revenues). He holds a BS degree in Physics and an EMBA in Business. Mr. Daniel is a prolific inventor with the gift of visualization. His work includes approximately 1300 documented inventions ranging from new consumer and industrial products, to inovative marketing strategies and procedures, to disruptive technologies that have the potential of transforming whole industries. Mr. Daniel is familiar with all aspects of patent procurement and licensing, patent searching, economic evaluation of new technology, Patent Office procedures, patentability and marketability, technology agreements, protection of patent rights, prototype design and fabrication, and other aspects of inventing. Mr. Daniel was previously employed at the Naval Research Laboratory as a Staff Scientist and currently maintains an office in Alexandria Virginia near the new U.S. Patent Office facilities. November 1983. Greg Micek, at a meeting held at the University of Houston, proposes starting an inventors group in Houston Texas. This idea becomes the start of the Houston Inventors Association (HIA).
