Description
Dominic Canterbury’s fascination with all things marketing started when he was in elementary school. While most kids were digging through the Sunday paper looking for the comics, Dominic was only interested in the ads. Dominic’s marketing obsession grew until in high school he found himself devouring marketing texts by the dozen and keeping his favorite ads and marketing pieces in folders under his bed.
Dominic initially studied psychology and neuroscience in college, but wasn’t satisfied with theory and research. He wanted something practical. Something like the marketing he’d been reading about for years. Finally, Dominic switched majors, earning a degree in marketing’s closely related sister: politics.
Prior to forming D/C Strategic in 2005, Dominic held a successful political career, managing the successful reelection campaigns for Representative Frank Chopp and Tukwila Mayor Steve Mullet, as well as working on the campaigns of several other Democratic candidates.
