David Boyd has over 12 years experience as a senior software engineer as well as an extensive background in a variety of languages and tools. Prior to founding FreeRange, David was Senior Software Engineer at Extensis, Inc., where he architected and designed the company's breakout NetPublish web publishing application for Portfolio. Before joining Extensis, David worked at Equilibrium, where he was Lead Engineer on several versions of products such as DeBabelizer, MediaRich, and ScriptDrive. He was also the Senior Software Engineer at Utopia, Inc., where he led the design and build of the entire application framework for Windows HelpDesk product suite that had over 700 client sites. David has a BS in Computer Science from California Polytechnic State University.
