It covers the area from Hilltown and Clare in the north, Port Wakefield in the west to Kapunda and Greenock in the east to Salisbury and Elizabeth in the south.
Products/Industries of the area
Wakefield has many diversified rural and manufacturing industries. The most important are mixed cereals and sheep farming, clothing, car manufacturing, market gardens and vineyards. Tourism is a growing industry in the Clare and Gilbert Valley and in the coastal towns and heritage centres such as Kapunda.
