In 1992, Dave Thomas, Founder of Wendy’s®, established The Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption. 2003 was the first year of incorporation for the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption Canada. We are firmly committed to continue our Founder’s vision and belief that all children deserve the love and support of a permanent home. To Dave Thomas, adoption was personal, because he was adopted into a permanent, loving home and believed every child deserved the same.
