David Hicks’ spent 25 years in aerospace engineering before founding Ultimate in 1996 and has now chosen to focus his company on the highest standards in custom fit for putters, using all his engineering expertise to carry out the most exhaustive research and development, taking on the major brands through sheer quality.
Ultimate Putters are based on the South Coast of England. David set up Higar Engineering 35 years ago. Higar makes precision components for the aircraft industry and has been awarded contracts to engineer and machine actuator housings for the aileron, rudder and elevator controls on the largest passenger aircraft in the world, the new A380 Airbus.
