My name is Dave Whittle and I come from the SW of England but I am now living in Sweden with my Swedish wife. I have 3 grown up children who live in England. I originally started as a Navigator in the Merchant Marine and did this for 7 years. Since I left the sea I have mostly worked in the shipping and ports industries. During this time I have lived and worked in different countries although my last posting was 15 years in the Middle East.
