Description
DartingtonARTS is a department of The Dartington Hall Trust, a registered charity committed to developing new models of educational, cultural and social patterns of living within the contexts of a global world view and the rural locality of the Dartington Hall estate in South Devon.
Within this purpose is the belief that the development, practice and participation in the arts is an integral and important aspect of everyday life, informing and complementing other aspects of human experience.
DartingtonARTS programme focuses on the juxtaposition of the contemporary with the classical, the exploration of new work borne from interdisciplinary collaboration; the curation, commissioning, facilitation and presentation of creative endeavour. This is presented via regional, national and international touring work as well as performances that are created at Dartington.
