Darnestown is an unincorporated town located in the western area of Montgomery County, Maryland. The location is ideal. Because the Wedges and Corridors Master Plan for Montgomery County has identified Darnestown as part of a "green wedge" the zoning is such that the minimum lot size you will find will be approximately half an acre, generally larger, with lots up to twenty acres.
