Danwa has been a weblog hosting service for years now. 4 to be precise, but even before that we (well, I) have been into the whole "let's host people for free" game. Since the mindset-disaster, danwa's been so stagnant that I've been thinking long and hard what I want to do with it. A couple of months ago I came up with an idea and I've been chafing away at it, making it as close to perfect as I can.

To those currently hosted, you're not going anywhere. So don't worry (unless your blog is stagnant, in that case you might get removed). Stay tuned to hear more, but I'll just summarize what the new danwa's going to become.
