dancing on fly ash started as a daily microfiction blog in 2004, written by Matt Bell and Josh Maday, both from Saginaw, MI. This is the second version of Fly Ash, which we hope can encompass not just new microfictions but other writings as well. Matt Bell lives in Saginaw, Michigan. His writing has appeared in many fine literary magazines, including Hobart, Barrelhouse, FRiGG, The Driftwood Review, and Monkeybicycle. His first play, “The Weight Of The World,” was produced as part of Heartlande Theatre Company’s 2005 Play by Play Marathon.
