J ill Bridger founded her dance school in 1988 and since that time it has grown steadily. Jill is registered with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), the Imperial Society (ISTD) and the National Association of Teachers of Dance (NATD).
Tuition in classical ballet, modern theatre dance, tap and natural movement. The ‘Melody Movement’ dance classes are specially aimed at pre-school children from aged two.
The aims of the school are to encourage all children to achieve their personal best and to find an outlet for self expression. Pupils of the school can work towards examinations up to Grade 8 ballet and Intermediate standards. The school has been very successful at competitive dance festivals and all children have a performance role in the school show, held every two years.
