Let me introduce myself. I am Anne Chastain - Editor, MWBE.com and Business Coach to Minority and Women Businesses. I work with small businesses across the country in the areas of startup, business certifications, marketing, and contracting.
When Hurricane Katrina hit, it affected all of us. I know so many people who have friends, family, and business associates in the affected areas.
My son, Nick (a Life Scout) and I were discussing the situation and trying to find ways that we could help. Nick's focus was the children of the survivors and what they must be feeling. My focus was with the "breadwinner" of the family - particularly small business owners.
