- Joined the Microsoft's UK Executive Board of Directors in 1994 as Director of their OEM Division
- Became Director of Microsoft's Consumer Division in 1996
- Then took over responsibility for IT Services and Operations across EMEA
- Moved to Vancouver in 2001 to manage Microsoft's Enterprise Service and Partner business in Canada
- Earlier was a founder member of a Value-Add Reseller business in the UK
- Had also started another technology consulting company before joining Microsoft
