About CYSA
The purpose of CYSA is to develop, promote and administer youth sport opportunities. CYSA is organized into programs to provide fun, educational and competitive sport programs for kids
CYSA is specifically structured to provide a wholesome, well-organized medium to teach good sportsmanship, teamwork and sport-specific skills, and to contribute to the general health and social well-being of all participating members.
The Capitol Youth Soccer Association was founded in 1976 as a not-for-profit organization. It has grown to serve more than 5,000 5- to 18-year-olds from the Treasure Valley annually. In 2005, CYSA changed its name to the Capitol Youth Sports Association to reflect the addition of lacrosse to its programming, and more sports are being considered all the time.
