During the next seven years, Cyndi began a small weaving business. She continued to study weaving through technical publications and further classes at Cedar Lakes. She added yarn dyeing to her business to obtain a wide range of colors from which to work..
In 1989, Cyndi began work on a Regent’s BA degree program at Marshall University in Huntington, WV. In addition to art, weaving, and painting courses, she studied business and computing. During that time, she developed a unique style of abstract landscape painting, featuring reversed light and color effects. She graduated in 1996, magna cum laude, with a Regent’s BA degree.
