A t this point in time, I write the ARTBiz column for Art Matters, a Philadelphia-area art periodical, and webmaster for Artist's Equity and Friends of Artist's Equity. I am also a Virtual Assistant who specializes in working with professional visual artists.
M y background includes almost 25 years of clerical, secretarial, and administrative experience before I started my own business. During that time I have been employed exclusively in the Philadelphia suburbs, working for a variety of large and small companies and fields, including computer, legal, financial, security, medical testing, government, and most recently, pharmaceutical, in both permanent and temporary assignments.
O ver the years I started to show increasing interest in and proficiency with technology, starting with the IBM Mag Card, to telex, electronic memory typewriters, and finally personal computers and the Internet.
