Commonwealth Property Management Services Company, dba Commonwealth Real Estate Services was founded in 1984. We are the leading management company for manufactured housing communities (MHC)in Oregon and Washington, having specialized in MHC management for nearly three decades. In addition, we manage apartment communities, commercial properties and floating home communities.
With our mission statement "To sustain a prosperous platform for exceptional management of all varieties of income property, with an emphasis on manufactured housing communities," we offer our clients a broad spectrum of services from complete management, including payroll, to consulting only.
While we continue to expand, Commonwealth manages over 100 properties throughout the Pacific Northwest, totaling 10,000 units/homesites. We employ over 200 on-site property employees and maintain our headquarters in Portland, Oregon with a corporate staff of 17, and another office in Bellevue, Washington, with a corporate staff of 5. We currently manage properties as far south as Klamath Falls, Medford and Brookings; as far north as Seattle; as far west as Seaside and Coos Bay, and as far east as Moses Lake, Yakima, Hermiston and Bend.
Commonwealth supports, is affiliated with, and/or participates in the following professional associations: National Apartment Association (NAA), Urban Land Institute (ULI), Manufactured Housing Communities of Oregon (MHCO), Manufactured Housing Communities of Washington (MHCW), Manufactured Housing Institute (MHI), Metro Multifamily Housing Association (MMHA), Oregon Manufactured Housing Association (OMHA) and Northwest Housing Association. Additionally, we are very active in the legislative arenas of Oregon and Washington, and the Landlord-Tenant Coalition in both states.
