About Curtition, Manufacturer and Supplier of Accordion Doors and Operable Walls Curtition began manufacturing folding doors in 1949. From humble beginnings as a regional source for standard closet and wood folding partitions, the company progressed to sole supplier status for major national chain retailers such as Montgomery Ward and Sears. Over the course of its first two decades, Curtition was, at various times, a division of Mobil Oil Corporation and Plicoflex.
