Our Pack
Did you know that Pack36 was started way back in (we're still trying to find out ......) and then was inactive for a period of 5 years. In 1996 a group of dedicated parents undertook the arduous task of reorganizing the Pack. Pack 36 has experienced a steady growth from the 8 boys who restarted the Pack in 1996 to the approximately 50 active boys in 2001. We hope that through the continued support of our dedicated parent volunteers that we will be as successful in the future. Our pack is a member of the Colonial Trails District of the Colonial Virginia Council. Through active participation and a desire to have fun we were awarded the Summertime Pack Award in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. Pack 36 was also awarded the Quality Unit award in 2000,2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004.
We are located Southeast of Richmond, the capital of Virginia, in the town of Carrollton is located in historic Isle of Wight County, check out our links page to find out about its rich history. Our state flag and location in the United States of America are shown at the left. Our state bird is the cardinal and our state tree is the dogwood.
