- About the Partners
- The partners travel extensively throughout the state on legal matters. Most of the presently pending cases are in the Judicial Districts of New London, Middletown, New Haven and Hartford. Attorneys Seifert & Hogan are members in good standing in the New London County Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Attorney Seifert is a member of the Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice before the Connecticut Appellate Court, the Connecticut Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals, Second Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Attorneys Seifert and Hogan regularly attend continuing legal education seminars and represent clients pro bono publica each year. Attorney Hogan received the Connecticut Bar Association's pro bono Honor Roll Award in 1993 and 1994. The attorneys have won difficult habeas corpus cases for their clients as well as civil and criminal appeals. In 2005, Attorney Hogan successfully campaigned for First Selectman of East Lyme, Connecticut. Since her inauguration on December 5, 2005, she has not been practicing as an attorney.
