- San Francisco-based jewelry artist, Charmaine Ho, has always loved art and creative exploration. She has dabbled with drawing, painted abstracts, and photographed details of man-made objects. However, it wasn’t until she took her first jewelry class in New York City that she felt the first stirrings of her true artistic calling. Continuing down this path, Charmaine enrolled at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in New York, where she was first classically trained in rendering and drafting, and soon after earned her Graduate Gemologist degree. Eager to experience other aspects of the jewelry trade, Charmaine sold wedding bands at Tiffany & Co., interned in the visual department at David Yurman, and did some design work for the mass market industry.
