Explorer Post #1894 is a 501-c3 non profit organization and an official program of the Colorado Springs Fire Department. We are also affiliated with Learning for Life, an organization that provides educational career opportunities for young adults. The intent of the Fire Department, in conjunction with Learning for Life, is to offer young adults real-life experiences, training and exposure to the career opportunities available within the Fire Service.
