GRETCHEN LABRENZ is the principal broker and president of her family's real estate company. Originally from Columbus, Ohio, where she attended Ohio State University, she has lived on St. John since 1981. She worked at Caneel Bay Resort for 10 years prior to joining the family business. Gretchen's dedication, unique background, knowledge, outstanding reputation, and expertise in the St. John real estate market has made her one of St. John's top producing brokers! Gretchen has served as a director of the St. John Board of Realtors, Pine Peace School, and the Villa Caribe and Point Rendezvous Home Owners Association.
MARGARET LABRENZ serves as office manager and has a wealth of real estate knowledge and "living on St. John" information to offer. She and her late husband, Jim Labrenz, relocated to St. John from Ohio in 1977 and founded Cruz Bay Realty in 1985. They built the first house in Estate Fish Bay, appropriately called "Goodbye Columbus." Subsequently, they built two more homes in Fish Bay, then constructed their Klein Bay home where Margaret currently resides. Margaret is very active in community affairs, is the past president of the St. John Historical Society, charter member of the St. John Board of Realtors, St. John Singers, Director of Klein Bay Homeowners Association and a member of Audubon Society and St. John AARP.
