Mission
The Cardiac Rehabilitation Network of Ontario (CRNO) is a provincial multi-disciplinary association of professionals dedicated to the rehabilitation of individuals with cardiac disease and the prevention of cardiac disease. The CRNO will advance the mission of the Canadian Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation (CACR) in the province of Ontario to provide expertise and leadership in the field. It promotes the highest standards of excellence and acts as a resource to the Provincial Government, professionals, organizations, and the general public of Ontario.
It is an advocate for the patient through the advancement of health care services in Ontario to include the development of a publicly funded network of multifactoral Cardiac Rehabilitative Services integrated within the network of cardiac care services for the province of Ontario.
To work with the Ministry of Health to develop a publicly funded, not for profit, patient centred network of Cardiac Rehabilitation Services for the province based upon outcome research and regional needs
