Description
The Ipswich Crime Reduction Panel consists of a cross section of people from throughout the town. Membership includes representatives from Local Government, Suffolk Constabulary, a variety of businesses & voluntary organisations and the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.
Through a series of initiatives and local campaigns the Panel aims to have a positive impact on the reduction and prevention of crime in the Ipswich area. It is reassuring that peoples perception of the level of crime in any given area often outways reality, a fact that the Panel are keen to promote by targeting crimes on which their work will make a real difference.
Education plays a large part of the groups activity using events such as the Suffolk Show, the Christmas Poster Campaign, local radio and of course, the internet to spread the message. The panel is always on the lookout for support in a variety of forms - so if you have time to spare, an opportunity to allow the Panel to promote themselves at an event or would like to place an advert on this website, then do please get in touch.
