Description
My name is Christie (Mayer) Black and I welcome you to Creations from the Heart. I have been drawing, I think, ever since I could hold a pencil and it has become a passion of mine. I started out by drawing and making cards for just family and friends with actually selling them in the back of my mind. When I had our first child, I was working for a large company; but I couldn’t bear to put him in daycare. So, I decided to stay home where I could be here for him and our two girls which followed closely behind.
When my sister-in-law, Lisa Black, became a midwife, we came to the realization that there were not many birth announcements on the market for midwife or home births. So, thanks to the support and encouragement of my family and friends, I decided to start my own greeting card company.
