First launched in 1983, today Craftsman Magazine is a major publication for UK Crafts and Craft Fairs, each month providing Information, Inspiration and Ideas for craftspeople; helping makers to sell their work and run their businesses, keeping people working in crafts in touch with each other and their industry.
Craftsman Magazine is produced by Angie and Paul Boyer, whose experience and knowledge of crafts, design, photography, advertising and marketing give them a unique understanding of UK crafts. First issued quarterly, Craftsman Magazine grew and took shape as the UK craft industry developed and is now a national monthly publication. Run by a small business for small businesses, Craftsman Magazine continues to effectively take the UK craft industry forwards.
Brought up in the East End of London, Paul started working life as a messenger in an advertising agency in the early 60's, working up to producing finished artwork in the studio.
