In 1990, CPU DATA, was started in the backyard of Gene Plohocky's (owner) house in a little wooden building in San Juan, Texas. There he worked at his business and wrote software for various clients.
From his backyard, and 14 months later, he moved to a small office complex and rented a 450 sq. ft. office suite on Expressway 83 in San Juan, Texas. As his business grew, he found it necessary to add employees and this necessitated another move. Fortunately his next move was very close, namely next door into a larger suite.
