In 1965 Canadian Parking Equipment\American Parking Equipment (CPE\APE) opened it’s first office in Windsor Ontario, under the name of Automated Parking Devices (Canada). As one of the parking equipment industry’s pioneers, the company occupied a 4,000 square foot office and manufacturing plant which serviced the entire North American market.
Today CPE\APE is headquartered in Mississauga Ontario Canada. An area well known as the technological heart of Canadian manufacturing, Mississauga provides CPE\APE with the required mix of skilled employees and hi-tech suppliers necessary to compete in a global market.
As one of the few privately owned companies in the industry, CPE\APE has the added advantage of being wholly owned by the current management team. The benefits of this structure include a prioritizing of customer satisfaction over quarterly results. In addition independent ownership provides a flexibility indirection and customer service unknown to larger competitors.
