Erik Sigurdson - President/CEO - founded Courtsports Inc. in 1996. His court flooring experience actually began at the age 10 when he put on his first uniform and played organized basketball at Seaside Heights Elementary School in Seaside, Oregon. In 1981 Dave Twardzik (who was the starting point guard for the 1977 Portland Trail Blazers championship team) traveled to Seaside for a basketball clinic that Erik participated in. He was amazed at Twardzik's ball handling abilities.
