Coupe Foundry has operated from its existing site in Higher Walton for over a hundred years producing general engineering and jobbing type cast iron castings. Originally known as William Coupe Ltd, it was a family owned business producing engineering castings with cupola-melted cast iron. In 1994 Coupe Foundry recognized that to advance its cast iron business and to progress with the developing ductile (sg) iron market, it was necessary to invest for the future. --Links
