A warm and friendly welcome to our country home. Our Motel + Bed & Breakfast (longer stays are welcome and meals can be provided upon request) is situated in the small village of Waikari in North Canterbury in the South island of New Zealand. We are in the heart of North Canterbury's wine country where world class wines are produced. Only I hour from Christchurch International Airport, we have a warm, friendly and comfortable family home where we welcome our visitors company in our lounge.
We can be reached by private car, alternatively you can use the intercity bus called "The Hanmer Connection" which leaves the city each day and bookings can be made for you if required. Their freephone number in NZ is 0800 377 378
You may have your own twin room or Queen room inhouse each with private shower/bath facilities, guests share wc, or you could try one of our 'detached' motel units with queen beds and ensuite facilities. Both are self catering with microwave cooking only, fridge etc. There is a single bed available in Unit 1 for that 'extra' person if required, and Unit 2 can sleep 4 with a queen bed and 2 singles.
