The Development Committee works to ensure that the Council on Aging has the financial resources it needs to fulfill its mission and help older adults in our community. The Committee works on both immediate and long-term goals. COA would not be possible without the support of volunteers and the financial assistance it receives from membership donations, memorial bequests, sponsors of events, grants and other contributions. In addition to developing short range sources of support, the Development Committee has initiated a program to inform members and others of planned giving opportunities to assure the future of COA.

Most of the work of COA is done in its various committees. The COA staff would be glad to speak with you about serving on one (or several) of these committees. Some areas where volunteers are always needed:
