The mission of Couloir magazine is to inform and inspire skiers and snowboarders who "earn their turns™" in the backcountry. To that end we will provide seasoned opinions on equipment, tips to increase your safety and skill, stories of adventure that make you feel the burn of the earn and the satisfaction of the turn, plus photographs that will make you whine with longing to be out there. Moreover, if you've never experienced wild snow, our mission is to convince you to try it!
